Taxation is the study of how taxes are assessed and how tax returns are completed for US Federal Tax purposes. Taxation is taught in two topics:

Individual Taxation
Corporation Taxation

Financial Accounting

Financial Accounting is the study of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and how Financial Statements are prepared. Financial Accounting is usually broken up into three sections:

Principles of Accounting I
Intermediate Accounting I and II
Advanced Accounting

Auditing

Auditing is the study of how accountants audit third-party financial statements. Auditing is all about how an accountant goes about looking at another company’s financial statements and issuing an opinion.

Theory of Auditing

Advanced Accounting

This course will walk you through the consolidation process of companies. This is a legacy course meaning that the information is provided in a whiteboard lecture style. This course is the most popular course on this site to date.

Individual Taxation

This course takes a tax form based approach when teaching taxation. Instead of going through theory, this course emphasize the tax return and then the theory behind the numbers. This course is updated every February for the previous tax year (current tax filing season).
